Welcome to Red Barn Songwriting, a home for original songs built on strong writing, honest storytelling, and authentic emotion.

Red Barn Songwriting is the home of original songs written by Robert Bishton, a BMI-affiliated songwriter with a focus on strong lyrics, memorable stories, and songs written with recording artists in mind. Drawing from country, Americana, bluegrass, blues, and roots music, the catalog ranges from heartfelt ballads to contemporary country and songs with a lighter touch.

The featured recordings were professionally produced at Beaird Music Group in Nashville with professional session musicians and vocalists. Wach recording was developed to showcase the song, it's story and it's potential for recording artists and other music-industry opportunities.

I invite artists, publishers, managers, music supervisors, and other industry professionals to explore the Music page   and listen to the current catalog. If you have questions regarding recording rights, licensing opportunities, co-writing projects, or other inquiries, please feel free to reach out through the Contact page. Thank you for visiting Red Barn Songwriting.
